The first pet store to open on a main street in Truro in years has something for every animal in your life, whether it’s a dog, cat, rabbit, bird or even a turtle. The Pet Center Truro on St Nicholas Street is full of natural treats, accessories, food – basically anything your pet could want.
While Truro has pets at home on the Treliske Industrial Estate and Ki & Kath Pet Supplies in the Pannier Market, The Pet Center Truro is the first all-purpose pet store to open on a downtown street in many years. It’s the brainchild of Louise Larkin, whose parents, Dawn and Paul, run the Pet Center based in Newquay.
She told CornwallLive: “I knew I wanted to open my own pet shop – I’m crazy about dogs. I fell in love with Truro – the people are so friendly and welcoming. I can’t believe how good things have been since my opening Saturday.I also had no idea how many people had cats in the Truro area – I sold so many cat items.
