HBO’s biggest stars who could come to the game

Warner Bos.’ Coming MultiVersus is about to collect the list of company properties into a single fighting game, and with The iron Throne‘ Arya Stark has already confirmed it’s possible that other characters from the HBO series like The Sopranos or Thread could also appear. The game features an eclectic mix of characters spanning the entire WB portfolio, from DC Comics to looney tunes and Hanna-Barbera, and adding more HBO characters would help add to its goofy premise. Bugs Bunny teaming up with Arya is pretty weird, but there are several other shows WB could take inspiration from to make. MultiVersus even wilder.

MultiVersus has already made up one of the most offbeat rosters for a fighting game in recent years. Classic characters like Superman and Bugs Bunny share the stage with newer Cartoon Network characters like Garnet and Finn. However, Arya Stark’s presence makes things more interesting. Arya hails from the adult The iron Throne series, making her an unlikely candidate to stand alongside several typically family characters. However, the inclusion of Arya Stark in MultiVersus means that several other characters from HBO classics who otherwise would never have been considered are now fair game.

Several classic HBO series have at least one character that stands out as a great potential choice for the MultiVersus list, despite the potential conflict in aesthetics. By the time the game’s roster is complete, it’s possible that one of these characters could have made their way into it and are battling with Shaggy Rogers and the Tazmanian Devil. With how unexpected many of the game’s roster selections have been so far, it’s hard to say anything is impossible.

The Wire’s Mouzone brother could be a multi-versus powerhouse

Brother Mouzone is a chillingly calm hitman whose gunplay could spice up MultiVersus.

Thread is a series about the drug game in Baltimore, following both the kingpins and dealers on the streets as well as the cops trying to stop them. However, one of the most fearsome fighters in the series is not a member of any of the factions and has not appeared in any Multiverse list leaks so far. Brother Mouzone is a hitman who may not have had much screen time. but he took advantage of his appearances. With feats like shooting Cheese, battling Omar, and finally working with Omar to take down Stringer Bell, Brother Mouzone has made his mark in the world of Thread.

Brother Mouzone stands out from most MultiVersus characters in that his skills are almost entirely based on his gunplay. It would most likely be based on ranged combat, creating openings to fire at opponents and using pistol rounds to secure victory. As for his personality, his calmness could be echoed in his in-game demeanor, always level-headed and unmotivated even in the midst of a pitched battle.

Brother Mouzone was a unique presence in Threadand it could be substantially the same in MultiVersus although he did not receive a memetic power boost like WB’s Shaggy. As a fighter with built-in gadgets both in terms of personality and gameplay, he would be a great addition to the roster. Characters in a fighting game need to be distinctive, and New York Hitman delivers that in spades. Yes MultiVersus is looking for an innovative new character, so maybe Brother MouZone will wish a good day to his opponents very soon.

The Sopranos’ Furio Giunta Wouldn’t Joke in Multiverse

Affable but violent, Furio could be an excellent choice for MultiVersus.

Tony Soprano, the kingpin and namesake of The Sopranos has been discussed as a potential fighter in Multiverse by fans. However, as tough as Tony is, he’s the boss, not a soldier. There are other characters in the series who would be more suited to the fast-paced, high-impact brawls of MultiVersus. Even though many fans want to see Tony Soprano in MultiVersusthe best competitor The Sopranos may be the well-dressed enforcer, Furio Giunta.

Brought from Italy to serve under Tony, Furio quickly established himself as a calm, affable man capable of sudden and vicious violence. MultiVersus could recreate this by giving him rather relaxed idle animations in combination with a fierce fighting style. Suited to his business approach to violence, Furio could have a variety of maneuvers that emphasize utility over glitz. He would likely be a close-range brawler who uses his fists to good effect, perhaps with a handgun to add some ranged damage. He wouldn’t be a character with a lot of flash in his style. He would come into the fight, dominate and leave like the professional he is.

Although Furio is not the most famous character in The Sopranosit may be her best option for MultiVersus. Additionally, Furio might have several alternate costumes in MultiVersus thanks to her distinctive wardrobe. Able to go from relaxed to violent effortlessly, he has what it takes to be an impressive and entertaining fighter.

Oz’s Tobias Beecher Could Be An Aggressive Fighter In MultiVersus

Beecher may seem modest, but he could be a force to be reckoned with in MultiVersus.

Despite being a violent sight, ounces has surprisingly few main characters that would translate effectively into a fighting game. O’Reily is a schemer rather than a fighter, Said is primarily a pacifist, and Alvarez is more pitiful than menacing. However, there is a main prisoner in the series who could make the jump to MultiVersus easily, and that’s Tobias Beecher. Initially portrayed as a naïve newcomer to prison, frequent bullying by Schillinger and the Aryans forced Beecher to evolve into a much more aggressive man.

If Beecher was in MultiVersus, then his playstyle should probably reflect the aggression he had to learn to survive. Just like the recently revealed MultiVersus A Tasmanian Devil, Beecher is said to be a savage fighter. He could sacrifice every other aspect of his game in favor of direct aggression. Beecher would probably be the epitome of a berserker, attacking as often as possible to keep the pressure on his opponent. This would effectively mirror his transformation in the series, where Beecher’s sudden and vicious revenge against Schillinger made him feared among the other inmates.

Having had less of a cultural imprint than The Sopranos or Thread, ounces would be the least likely of the three to have a representative in MultiVersus. However, if that were to happen, there would be few better choices than Beecher. Being one of the most benign inmates in the series as well as the most feared, Beecher would be an interesting presence in the game, albeit one of the weirder members of MultiVersus‘ listing.

HBO classics are still held in high regard and would be well suited for representation in the MultiVersus listing. Whether bringing a fresh take on old shows or celebrating their legacy, they would serve a great purpose in-game. They might seem like unlikely additions, but how MultiVersus‘ list is already, their additions might not be as shocking as one might think.
