Dogs Enjoy the Baseball Game + Puppies Love the Boat Rides: MD Pet Photos Of Week

MARYLAND — Patch asked readers to send us photos of their pets, and our neighbors did not disappoint. Here are some of Maryland’s cutest furry friends.

Jill Fleisher submitted this first photo of a pooch named Charlie watching her brother and sister tubing on the Middle River.

Rachel Krug sent us this photo of Rick, a rescued pet rabbit. Krug’s family rescued Rick after the indoor rabbit was left outside for two weeks. The bunny’s name is short for “Eureka”, which people shout when they find something.

Rick has been living happily with his new family for four years. He loves being cuddled, nibbling on bunny treats and looking out the window. Rick also enjoys watching “Jeopardy!”, but he never gets the right answers.

Brian Edward Kamoie took this photo of his 6-year-old German Shepherd named Schuyler. Kamoie took the photo at Pleasant Plains Community Beach in the St. Margaret’s neighborhood of Annapolis. The Chesapeake Bay and a line of container ships decorate the background.

Sharon Stapf took this photo of Pearl and Grace at a baseball game. The Golden Retriever sisters of Hollywood, Maryland waited for blue crabs in southern Maryland to take to the field after a rain delay.
